Athlete Academy ATHLETE ACADEMY golf

No template. A measurement, then a plan.

Two thirteen-year-old juniors with identical handicaps can need opposite things. A program that treats them the same is guessing on at least one of them.

Most athletes train. Few follow a structured development plan. Our work is getting your family out of the confusion and into clarity.

Most of the work is a conversation about what the numbers mean.

How it works

1. Assess

We measure jump height, rotational power, strength for stage, and movement control. You see every number. So does your golfer.

2. Train what the data says

The plan is built from your athlete's actual gaps, not from what an average player might need.

For most juniors that means progressive strength, hip and trunk power, and rotational work that turns ground force into clubhead speed.

3. Re-measure

We test again on a schedule and put the before-and-after in front of you. Improvement is shown, not promised.

One system sits underneath every step — the Athlete Academy Standard™ — the framework our evaluations, programming, and athlete reports are all built on.

One idea to keep: ask any program what it measured on day one. If the answer is nothing, the plan was written before your athlete walked in.

Evaluation Day is the group doorway; an assessment request is the direct one. Either way, the numbers come first.

He trained me over thousands of miles, many different weight rooms, quarantines, limited equipment and no equipment, time zones, and a heavy travel schedule. I walked into spring and summer 2021 in the best physical shape possible.

What it has produced

I’ve been playing professional soccer for 5 years, but after 1 month training with Aaron, I am bigger, faster, and stronger than I have ever been. It’s not just lifting weights for the sake of it, it’s practical and sport-specific. It’s perfect for me during the off-season so I can get back to the top of my game.
Tom ParrattProfessional player, Scottish Premier League · five years professional
I knew I needed to get stronger and more athletic to reach my goal of becoming a Division I discus thrower. Learning the foundations and technique of lifting, breathing, balance and stretching benefited me far into my career — those skills set a strong base as I looked to get more powerful in the weight room and in the ring. They helped me in college because I knew how to functionally move my body.
Leah DusterhoftDivision I discus
I came out more athletic and able to move more freely while pushing weight — more explosive and quick twitch. Very positive, but informative as well: he helps you understand the why of what you are doing and the benefits of it.

Questions parents ask

Is this a substitute for swing lessons?

No. Never. The swing coach develops the golf; we develop the athlete the golf runs on. Families keep their lesson and tournament schedule and we fit the development dose around it, easing off in tournament weeks.

What makes the plan individual?

It starts from your golfer’s measured baselines — power, strength for stage, and movement control — and it changes when her re-test numbers change. Nothing is prescribed off a chart.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the right program for your athlete, so we discuss it directly rather than posting a menu. Contact us and you will get plain numbers and zero pressure.
